Oh Hey Friday: Vacation Plans

In just a few short days... six to be exact... I will be on my way to California with my Allison, my mom, my sister.  Cam will fly out and meet us there.  I must say that 21 hours in a car will be quite interesting with Allison... possibly crazy really.  Any vacationing tips with a baby would be greatly appreciated!  Below are a few places we will be visiting on our trip!

1. Disney Land- I can't wait to take a picture with Cameron, Ally & Mickey.  Allison just ADORES Mickey!

2. Roswall, NM- On the way up we will be stopping here and visiting a UFO musuem!

3. Hollywood- We will definitely spend a day here.  I am beyond excited!

4. Venice Beach- Okay so I am not 100% sure if we are going to Venice Beach, but we are going to a beach.  Last time we talked, this was what was decided.

5. Universal Studios- More scared than anything because I am definitely a fan of the more tamer rides.  Yes I am a wimp and no I am not scared to admit that.  Once upon a time my fiancé, boyfriend at the time, and best friend decided to carry me all the way to the front of line at the batman ride in Six Flags.  It is safe to say I proudly walked all the way back and waited while they rode it.  Ha!

Last year Cam and I took a trip with his family to Disney in Florida!  We had a wonderful time, and to think next time we go we will have our little Ally with us!  I would go back to Disney in a heart beat.

A Magical Proposal

Each Tuesday I have decided to do a throwback post of some exciting things that have happened to me in the past. This week I am going to talk about my proposal!  As soon as I my now fiancé invited me to Disney, I dropped many hints as to how romantic it would be to have a proposal at Disney!  Before we set off on our plane to Florida, I knew he was going to propose to me.  I was unaware as to when and where though.  On the morning we went to the Magic Kingdom, I was waiting inline with his family to take pictures with some of the princesses when he mysteriously disappeared.  I did not really think anything of it.  My man is not one to be too thrilled on taking pictures with characters, let alone princesses.

 After we finished taking pictures we met back up with him and he told me he wanted to take me somewhere so I followed.  I started to get butterflies in my stomach.  I had a feeling he was about to propose to me.  We walked up a pathway that was deserted.  Then hidden in the bushes, there was Cinderella's Wishing Well.  He handed me a penny and told me to make a wish.

 I took the penny, closed my eyes, and made my wish.  When I opened my eyes, my fiancé was down on one new proposing!

It really was one of the most magical and special moments of my life.

And of course, I said yes!
